Happy 2018 and Happy 10 Year Singleversary to me!!! Celebrating 10 years of being single is crazy and I love it! I never expected this journey but I am honestly grateful to God for every minute of it! I am so blessed! I have learned and grown so much! Ok, enough with the exclamation points and we will get more into my 10 years of being single, as the year progresses. This post was supposed to be about 2018 goals and it still is, but I just got so wrapped up in my 10 Year Singleversary that I couldn’t help myself. Hahaha!

As I have mentioned in the past, each year, I pick one main focus for the year. This year, I am stating it a bit differently. My only focus for this year and every year, is for everything I do to be in alignment with God’s will. My goals for this year, are to grow my coaching business and to make room for love in my life. So I have a focus and goals because words are important and I need to make the distinction that my focus is always on the Lord and my goals are things that I am taking massive action on this year. It is so exciting to set goals at the beginning of the year and then plan out how I am going to accomplish them. Last year, was the first year that I set real, measurable goals for myself and on December 31st, I cried with gratitude and pride when I realized that I actually accomplished most of them. God is so good! Yes, I know the Yiddish proverb “Man makes plans, and God laughs” but on the other end of that, I also believe, “A goal without a plan is just a wish”, Antoine de Saint-Exupery. My take on things falls somewhere between the two, I make plans and see what God does. So if you don’t already, I want to encourage you to join me in making some 2018 goals and plans. It is so amazing what you can accomplish in a year, with God’s help!
